RETURNS POLICY

If you change your mind once you have placed your order, please notify us in writing at Shop@the5thelement.uk of your wish to cancel the order immediately. If we receive notification of cancellation before we process your order, we will happily refund you in full including any delivery costs charged.

If upon receipt of your goods you are not satisfied, we offer a refund in full for goods returned within 28 working days of receipt of the items(s) only if it is in a new, unused, unopened and in a re-saleable condition. As some skin products may cause allergic reactions, please seek professional consultation with your doctor before purchasing items you have not tried before as we cannot be held responsible for any adverse effects. If you would like to sample an item prior to purchase, please email us as we often have samples, though we cannot guarantee samples will be available.

Please send the item, along with the original Dispatch Note and a covering letter explaining the reason for return to:

Please note, this is not a Freepost address and The 5th Element Shop will not pay for the cost of Return delivery. We do however strongly advise that all returns are sent via a method of recorded delivery in order to ensure safe receipt. We cannot be held responsible for any undelivered items.

Returns will be processed within 14 working days of receipt of the goods, whereupon we will contact you directly regarding the issue of either a refund or exchange. Refunds can take up to 15 working days to appear in your account.

If you are exchanging an item where there is a difference in cost, such costs will be either charged/refunded via the original payment method (along with postage and packaging where appropriate).

 

DAMAGED OR FAULTY GOODS:

It is with regret that sometimes goods may be damaged in transit. In which case, we ask that you return your unused goods to us and we will send out a replacement.

Please return any such item, with a copy of your Despatch Note and covering letter to the Returns Dept address as shown above.

  • ShopRush strongly advise that all items are sent via a method of recorded delivery in order to ensure safe receipt. We cannot be held responsible for any undelivered items.
  • Please note that you will be reimbursed for the cost of returning the item. This will be issued back to your original method of payment.
  • If, by our error you have received the incorrect goods in your order, we will endeavour to replace the goods with the correct products at no extra cost, and will bear all costs for the return of the products. Please contact returns@the5thelement.uk to arrange this, including details of your name, order number and delivery address.

 

RETURNING FAULTY GHD HAIR STRAIGHTENERS:

ghd Hair Straighteners are covered by a 24 month Manufacturer’s warranty held with Jemella (ghd).

The warranty entitles you to a repair or replacement of your faulty hair straighteners. Please refer to http://www.ghdhair.com/help/returns and fill in an Online Return Form for further instructions.

  • The 5th Element Shop strongly advise that all returns are sent via Recorded Delivery in order to ensure safe receipt of the goods due to their high value.
  • Please allow approximately 1-2 weeks for the return delivery of your ghd’s.

 

RETURNING FAULTY CLARISONIC DEVICES:

Clarisonic devices are covered by a 24 month warranty and a 30 day satisfaction guarantee.

Free Gift returns policy

Quite often we will run a complimentary gift offer. If you spend a given amount on a brand (or more,) you will be entitled to a voucher code to receive a free gift. When returning items; if your order total becomes less than that amount after removing the cost of the returned items, you will be required to return the free gift received with purchase. But if your order is still equal to or greater than the stated amount then you may keep the free gift uncharged. (Order costs do not include delivery charges.) For example, if the required spend is £75 and:

  • your order is £100 but you choose to return £30 worth of goods, (new order total £70) you will be required to return your free gift
  • your order is £100 but you choose to return £25 worth of goods, (new order total £75) you will not be required to return your free gift

Spending the required amount is compulsory to receiving the free gift, so if the free gift is not returned the value of that gift will be deducted from your card. Rush will contact you first, if this is the case.

 

FREE GIFTS AND PROMOTIONS POLICY

From time to time, Rush Shop may offer complimentary gifts when you spend a certain amount or more online. If you spend this amount or more, you will receive the free gift. When returning items, if your order total becomes less than that amount after removing the cost of the returned items, you will be required to return the free gift received with purchase. If your order is still equal to or greater than the stated amount then you may keep the free gift uncharged. Order costs do not include delivery charges.

For example, if the required spend is £40 and:

  • your order is £60 but you choose to return £30 worth of goods, (new order total £30) you will be required to return your free gift
  • your order is £60 but you choose to return £20 worth of goods, (new order total £40) you will not be required to return your free gift

Spending the required amount is compulsory to owning the free gift, so if the free gift is not returned the value of that gift will be deducted from your card.
