The 5th Element Salon is looking for professional and creative hairdressers and stylists who have the talent and ambition to run a successful busy column, make customers happy and expand on their own knowledge within our company.
The 5th Element Salon is located on School Road, Reading, Tilehurst which runs between Tilehurst Triangle and Oxford road, we are right opposite the side entrance to CO-OP supermarket and next to Asda Petrol Station.
We are looking for as passionate as us about giving your clients the best experience in the salon. Be an ambitious person that is confident in all aspects of cutting and colouring and treatments for all types of hair.
Ultimately, you will ensure all customers leave our salon satisfied with our services and feel happy with their new looks.

The responsibilities of a successful hair stylist may vary depending on skill level and the specific services they offer, but generally include the following:
Consultation: Meeting with clients to discuss their hair care needs and preferences, and providing recommendations for styles and treatments.
Hair cutting and styling: Cutting, trimming, and shaping hair to create desired looks, and styling hair for various occasions using tools such as blow dryers, curling irons, and straighteners.
Hair colouring and treatments: Applying colour, highlights, and lowlights to hair, and performing treatments such as deep conditioning, keratin smoothing, and scalp treatments.
Client education: Educating clients on proper hair care techniques and recommending products to help maintain healthy hair.
Sanitation and safety: Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by following sanitation protocols and ensuring that equipment is properly sterilised and maintained.
Sales and customer service: Promoting salon services and products, and providing excellent customer service to clients to encourage repeat business and positive reviews.
Continuing education: Staying up-to-date with the latest hair care techniques and trends by attending workshops, classes, and industry events.
Overall, a successful hair stylist should have excellent technical skills, great communication and customer service skills, and be knowledgeable about various hair care products and treatments. They should also have a passion for their work and be committed to providing exceptional service to clients.

£12,750 – £32,000 potential earnings
Salary: £10.50 to £14.00 /hour
Progression within the Company to Salon Management and Team Training.
